午后暖阳透过礼堂的玻璃窗洒进来，一切已悄然准备就绪。

十二时一刻，同学们和在班主任的引导下有序入场，按座位表落座，期待与兴奋写在每个人的脸上。与此同时，大屏幕上开始循环播放一段特别的视频——那是老师们提前录制的祝福。画面里，平日里严谨认真的老师们纷纷出镜，或幽默、或深情、或叮嘱、或鼓励，一句句真挚的祝福引得台下同学不断欢呼、鼓掌，笑声与感动交织在一起。

十二时三十分，家长们从夏宁路门步入校园，经由大厅步入大礼堂。与此同时，礼堂大屏幕上循环播放着另一份惊喜——家长们为孩子录制的祝福视频。镜头里，是平日里不轻易说出口的牵挂与期许，是无数个日夜默默守护的深情。

第一章·青春致辞，誓言铿锵Chapter 1 · Youth Address & Resolute Oath

随着五位主持人Daisy、Leo、Lisa、Klaus、Yiyang走上舞台，话音落下，全场安静下来，十四岁生日会正式拉开帷幕。

大屏幕亮起，一段成长纪念册视频将大家带回了时光的来处。从刚入校时的青涩面庞，到如今意气风发的少年模样，一帧帧画面如流水般划过，让人真切地感受到时间的重量。

学生代表Miumiu Zhang走上台前发言。她以真诚而沉稳的语调，诉说着十四岁的感悟，表达对师长、对父母的感激，也道出了同龄人心底对未来的憧憬与决心。

随后，家长代表Mia妈妈发言。她以一位母亲的视角，娓娓道来，既有对孩子成长的欣慰与骄傲，也有对全体八年级学子的殷切祝福。

最后，李晶主任走上台前，领读青春誓词。同学们全体起立，挺直脊背，目光坚定，跟随李主任的声音，一字一句，铿锵有力地念出青春的承诺。不约而同地，所有人的声音汇聚在一起，在礼堂上空回荡——那是十四岁的声音，是成长的声音。

第二章·青春汇演，星光熠熠Chapter 2 · Youth Performances, Shining Bright

誓言犹在耳畔，舞台的灯光已然亮起。进入节目表演环节，八年级的同学们各展所长，用歌声、琴声、舞姿与笑声，将这场青春盛会推向高潮。

紧接着是歌曲串烧，几组同学先后登台，用音乐串联起十四岁的情感光谱。

Daisy、Elena带来《心墙》，将这首歌里关于打开心扉、勇敢去爱的主题演绎得细腻动人。

音乐剧《This is me》将舞台变成了一个绚烂的梦境。Dora Du、Yi Yi、Candice、Sissi、Yilia、Miffy身着戏服，全身心投入角色，用歌声与表演诠释着"做自己"的勇气与骄傲。每一个动作、每一个眼神，都传递着属于青春的张扬与真诚。

Joe、Miu Miu Zhang带来相声《我们的十四岁》。两人一捧一逗，妙语连珠，将十四岁成长中的趣事、囧事、暖心事一一抖落出来，引得全场笑声不断。

三章·家书赠礼，真情流转Chapter 3 · Family Letters & Gifts, Tender Affections in the Air

表演的余温尚未散去，会场的光线柔和下来，最令人动容的环节缓缓开启。

家长们悄悄准备好的家书，在这一刻送到每一位同学手中。信封里，是父母反复斟酌后写下的话语——或许是一直想说却未曾开口的骄傲，或许是对孩子十四岁生日的真诚祝福，或许是对未来的期许与信任。

与此同时，家长们还将精心准备的十四岁生日礼物送到孩子手中。一份份礼物，包裹着的不仅是心意，更是漫长岁月里无言的陪伴与守护。这一刻，感恩与爱意在礼堂里静静流淌，每个人都真切地感受到了家的力量。

尾声·甜蜜共享，定格青春家书与礼物的温情未尽，生日会的经典环节如期而至。

学生代表登上舞台，在全场的注目下，点燃了十四岁生日蜡烛。烛光摇曳中，所有人一起许下心愿——那些关于梦想、关于成长、关于未来的心愿，在这一刻被郑重地安放。随后，蛋糕被一块块分到同学们手中，甜意在舌尖化开，笑容在脸上绽放。

活动最后，全体师生与家长移步户外，在蓝天与阳光下列队合影。快门按下的一次次声响里，十四岁的笑脸被永久定格。有人比着剪刀手，有人搂着身旁的好友，有人拉着父母的手站在镜头前——这一刻，青春具象化成了每个人脸上的光。

十四岁的生日会落幕了，但十四岁的青春，才刚刚开始。

Forge Ahead with Vigour, Ride the Waves Forward

——A Record of the 14th Birthday Coming-of-Age Ceremony

Time flies. Before we know it, the eighth-grade students have bid farewell to their carefree childhood and arrived at the crossroads of life at the age of fourteen. Fourteen marks the end of childhood, the beginning of shouldering responsibilities, and the gentle prelude to a grand coming-of-age journey. On May 28th, all teachers, students and parents of Grade Eight at Shanghai Jinshan Hangzhou Bay Bilingual School gathered together to witness this special birthday celebration dedicated to youth, growth and dreams.

Prelude · Embark on the Journey of Youth

Warm afternoon sunlight streams through the auditorium's glass windows, and everything is fully prepared.

At a quarter past twelve, students entered the venue in order under the guidance of head teachers and took their assigned seats. Excitement and anticipation lit up every face. Meanwhile, a special pre-recorded video from teachers played on the big screen. Usually rigorous and earnest, the teachers appeared one after another, being humorous, heartfelt, earnest and encouraging. Their sincere blessings drew constant cheers and applause from the students, filling the air with laughter and warmth.

At half past twelve, parents entered the campus through the Xiuning Road gate and walked into the auditorium via the lobby. Right then, another surprise rolled on the screen: blessing videos recorded by parents for their children. The footage conveyed hidden care and heartfelt wishes, as well as the deep affection behind days and nights of quiet companionship.

Chapter 1 · Youth Address & Resolute Oath

As five hosts — Daisy, Leo, Lisa, Klaus and Yiyang — stepped onto the stage, the audience fell silent, marking the official start of the 14th birthday celebration.

The large screen lit up, playing a video montage of growth that took everyone down memory lane. Frames flashed by, showing the students’ shy young faces when they first enrolled, and their vibrant, high-spirited looks today. The flowing footage vividly revealed the passage of time.

Student representative Miumiu Zhang delivered a speech. In a sincere and composed tone, she shared her thoughts on turning fourteen, expressed gratitude to teachers and parents, and voiced the aspirations and resolve of all her peers for the future.

Next, parent representative Ms. Mia took the floor. Speaking from a mother’s perspective, she spoke gently and sincerely, sharing her joy and pride in her child’s growth, and extending warm wishes to all Grade Eight students.

Finally, Director Li Jing came forward to lead the youth oath. All students stood tall with firm gazes. Following her lead, they recited the pledge word by word in powerful, resounding voices. Their voices blended as one and echoed throughout the auditorium — a voice of fourteen, a voice of growth.

Chapter 2 · Youth Performances, Shining Bright

The echoes of the oath still lingered in the air as the stage lights came on. The performance segment began. Grade Eight students showcased their talents to the fullest, lifting this grand youth gala to new heights with songs, instrumental music, dances and joyful laughter.

The show kicked off with Someone in the Crowd. Four performers — Hermione, Mido, Lareina and Cindy — embodied young dream-chasers on stage. They delivered a lively and heartfelt rendition of this tune filled with urban romance and the spirit of pursuing dreams. Set against a warm stage backdrop, their natural and expressive performance told stories of courage and passion in youth, winning rounds of applause from the audience.

A medley of songs followed, where groups of students took the stage one after another, weaving the full spectrum of teenage emotions into music.

Blair, Arabella, Kelly, Agnes Ji, Christina and Mina performed I Will Wait. The clear and melodious notes of the guzheng rose first, blended seamlessly with the tender sound of the violin. Combining Chinese and Western instruments, the singers’ pure voices expressed perseverance and tenderness amid waiting.

Alina, Tina, Domie and Ellen presented Dear You. A song gentle yet powerful, it was sung in chorus, voicing the heartfelt words hidden deep inside.

Daisy and Elena sang Wall in the Heart, interpreting the theme of opening up and loving bravely with exquisite and touching expression.

Dora Du, Candice, Arabella, Max and Derick performed The Brightest Star in the Night Sky. As the familiar melody played, many students waved their hands spontaneously.

So High School pushed the atmosphere to another climax. The striking beats of the drum set burst forth, energetic and powerful. The performers delivered a vibrant show brimming with youthful spirit, capturing the lively and unrestrained days of school life, while cheers erupted throughout the hall.

Hermione staged the classical dance Ode to Luofu. The stage lights softened. As her sleeves fluttered gracefully, the timeless beauty of traditional Chinese art unfolded. Her graceful moves and flowing rhythms told a story spanning a thousand years, presenting a calm and profound side of youth.

The musical This Is Me turned the stage into a brilliant dreamland. Dressed in costumes, Dora Du, Yi Yi, Candice, Sissi, Yilia and Miffy fully immersed themselves in their roles. Through singing and acting, they interpreted the courage and pride of being true to oneself. Every gesture and glance radiated the boldness and sincerity of youth.

Joe and Miu Miu Zhang brought the cross-talk Our Fourteen Years Old. Playing off each other with witty remarks, they shared funny, awkward and warm moments of growing up at fourteen, drawing laughter from the entire audience.

Kiwi, Dennis and Dyna performed Truly Love You, a song dedicated to love and gratitude. Accompanied by the guitar, they sang with sincere emotions, expressing appreciation and affection for parents, teachers and one another. Their restrained yet heartfelt singing touched every heart present.

To wrap up the performances, teachers took the stage to sing Wish Note in chorus, sending their sincere blessings to all.

Chapter 3 · Family Letters & Gifts, Tender Affections in the Air

The joy of the performances still lingered as soft lights filled the venue, ushering in the most touching part of the ceremony.

Every student received a family letter carefully prepared by their parents. Inside the envelopes lay words written with great deliberation — pride long kept unspoken, sincere wishes for their fourteenth birthday, as well as expectations and trust for the days ahead.

Parents also presented thoughtfully chosen birthday gifts to their children. These presents carried not only heartfelt regards, but also the silent company and protection that had lasted through the years. In this quiet moment, gratitude and love permeated the auditorium, letting everyone truly feel the power of family.

Epilogue · Sweet Moments, Frozen Youth

The warmth from the letters and gifts still filled the air as the classic part of the birthday celebration began.

Student representatives stepped onto the stage and lit the birthday candles for the fourteenth birthday under everyone’s gaze. Amid the flickering candlelight, all made their wishes wholeheartedly — wishes for dreams, growth and the future, solemnly cherished at this moment. Afterwards, pieces of cake were passed around. Sweetness spread across everyone’s taste buds, and bright smiles lit up every face.

Towards the end of the event, all teachers, students and parents moved outdoors for a group photo under the blue sky and bright sunshine. With each click of the camera, the youthful smiles at fourteen were preserved forever. Some held up peace signs, some put their arms around friends, and others stood beside their parents. At this moment, youth shone vividly on every face.

The fourteenth birthday celebration came to an end, yet the journey of youth at fourteen has only just begun.
