少年逐光 强国有我|杭州湾学子闪耀沪上科创舞台

从科技节红毯到教博会展台杭州湾学子以科创点亮"中国核·世界流"育人新篇

当大国重器仰望星空,当人工智能走进病房,当一群少年在展台前侃侃而谈——一个面向未来的科创强国梦,正由一代又一代青少年在校园里悄然孕育。近日,我校连传喜讯:初三学生蔡溢灿踏上 2026 年上海科技节青少年科创红毯,小学部"探物社"小队周楚涵、张子易、陈幸儿同学亮相第二十三届上海教育博览会。一位中学少年、一支小学小队,一前一后接力登场,共同书写了我校"立德树人、五育融合"育人答卷中崭新的一页。

蔡溢灿同学品学兼优,连续三年获得校奖学金。在学科与竞赛方面,数学方面斩获多个奖项;在体育方面,他每周坚持 10 公里长跑,并在金山区阳光体育联赛中斩获羽毛球个人与团体双料亚军——课内课外、文理体艺,他用行动诠释着五育并举的少年模样。

真正让他在科技节上闪耀的,是他对科创的执着与情怀。2025 年,他作为核心成员征战国际基因工程机器大赛(iGEM),荣获全球金奖;同年再战国际定向进化大赛(iDEC),摘得全球银奖。让人感到温暖的是,这位少年的研究并非"为赛而赛"。在医院志愿服务期间,他敏锐地关注到基层肺癌亚型诊断难、误诊率高的现实难题,自主开展《面向临床的肺癌亚型 AI 辅助诊断系统》课题研究。该系统融合自监督学习与多实例学习等前沿技术,不仅能精准判别肺癌亚型,更显著提升了诊断的可解释性,为基层医生快速制定诊疗方案提供了切实支持。凭借这一兼具技术深度与人文温度的作品,他在 2026 年上海市"明日科技之星"评选中荣获一等奖。

科技节当天,蔡溢灿还与北斗三号卫星系统总设计师林宝军面对面交流,请教人工智能跨学科应用的未来趋势。"林老师鼓励我们要敢于突破学科边界,这让我更坚定了自己的研究方向。"从北斗组网到 AI助诊,从国之重器到基层医疗,这一场跨越代际的对话,让国家科技战略与少年研究志向产生了真实的共鸣。

别看队员们年纪小,他们的作品却经过了市、区两级的层层遴选与数月打磨。从选题立意到结构设计,从原理验证到反复调试,三位同学在指导教师的陪伴下,全程以自主探究的方式推进项目。最终成型的"声波光影"实验装置兼具创新性与科普性,将抽象的声音转化为可以被"看见"的光影形态,让科学的奇妙在一瞬间被点亮。凭借这件作品,"探物社"小队同步斩获上海"明日科技之星"评选"科技希望之星"称号。

"科技希望之星"开展当日,金山区教育局相关领导专程来到展位视察指导,对孩子们的自主创新成果给予充分肯定,并寄语他们继续保持对科学探索的热情。展位前,来自全市的教育工作者与中小学生驻足围观,小讲解员们分工协作,用通俗易懂的语言讲述装置背后的科学原理;不少参观的小朋友在队员引导下亲手操作,第一次感受到"科学探究"的乐趣。一群小学二年级的孩子,就这样自信地站在了上海教博会的舞台中央。

一中一小:两束光照见同一种育人理念一位初三少年走上科技节红毯,三位二年级同学站上教博会展台——看似两个独立的故事,背后是同一所学校、同一套育人逻辑。

蔡溢灿用 AI 助力基层医生,"探物社"用光影点亮科学启蒙,他们走的不是同一条赛道,却都呼应着同一个时代命题——加快建设科技强国、培养担当民族复兴大任的时代新人。当国家以高水平科技自立自强擘画未来,校园里的每一次实验、每一份作品、每一场展示,都是这场远征中不可或缺的一颗"螺丝钉"。

让更多少年走上属于自己的红毯从一个人到一个团队,从国际赛场到城市展厅,从基础物理到前沿 AI,杭州湾双语学子正以多元而扎实的方式,走出一条属于自己的科创成长之路。

未来,学校将继续深耕科创教育,丰富双语课程供给,搭建更高水平的国内外交流平台,鼓励每一位热爱科学的孩子勇攀科学高峰,让"中国核、世界流"的种子在更多少年心中生根发芽,让科技强国的星河中,闪烁更多来自杭州湾的少年之光。

This May, students from Hangzhou Bay Bilingual School (Shanghai Jinshan) appeared on two of the city's biggest stages in a single week — a teenager on the red carpet for Shanghai's young innovators, and three primary-schoolers on the floor of the 23rd Shanghai Education Expo.

A teenager who answered his own question.

Grade 9 student Ethan Cai was one of just sixteen students chosen citywide to walk the youth-innovation red carpet at the 2026 Shanghai Science Festival. What earned him the spot was a problem he met while volunteering at a hospital: lung cancer is hard to subtype correctly at community clinics, and many cases are misread. So he built an AI diagnostic system that classifies subtypes accurately — and, just as importantly, explains its reasoning clearly enough for a busy doctor to act on. It won First Prize at Shanghai's 2026 "Stars of Tomorrow in Science and Technology" awards.

Cai is a student of exemplary character and academic performance, having won school scholarships for three consecutive years. In the fields of academics and competitions, he has received multiple awards in mathematics — all while running ten kilometers a week. At the festival, he even traded ideas with Lin Baojun, chief designer of China's BeiDou-3 satellite system. "He encouraged us to break through disciplinary boundaries," Cai said. He also co-founded HWE, a student group that performs music therapy in Shanghai hospitals.

At the Education Expo, Class 2(2) students Amber Zhou, Eason Zhang, and JoJo Chen presented a device they designed themselves: "Sound, Light and Shadow," which turns invisible sound waves into light and shadow you can watch. The project cleared several rounds of district and city selection and took months to refine — all driven by the students, with a mentor alongside — and was named a "Rising Star of Science and Technology" at the same citywide awards. The best moment came when visiting children, coached by three confident second-graders, tried the device for themselves.

That's the instinct the school is after: find a real problem, then do something about it.
